The Impossible Project

by mark on Jun.18, 2010, under General, Hacking, Photography

Not so impossible anymore. I’ve been playing around with both their PX100 and PX600 films in both a couple of SX-70 cameras and a 600. The 600 material seems very stable and reliable. The 100 is getting there and very fun to play with. ‘

Here is a self portrait I did with a $5 SX-70 classic I got from a fleamarket. The trick to getting decent black/white is to chill the film before and right after you expose. This one was left to warm a little because I like the sepia.

Ocean Beach, San Francisco

Ocean Beach, San Francisco, originally uploaded by Mark.Cohen.

Decided to take the N-Judah out to the end of the line. The weather was very warm for San Francisco but surprisingly there were very few people at the beach.

Martha in Black and White
Took a walk home from work and ran into a wonderful friend. On the way, we had a nice impromptu photo shoot.

More to come later.
